As a gesture of closeness and solidarity towards all those athletes who have finalized training to fulfill the dream of running in the 'Big Apple', Venicemarathon, thanks to a sponsorship agreement signed with TDS (Timing Data Service srl), the new sponsor of the event, offers the registration for the Venice Marathon at the reduced fee of 40 euros, while TDS will cover the remaining costs. Another way to register for the Venicemarathon, in this case by winning a bib, is to participate in the fun challenge launched by UYN, technical partner of the marathon, with 10 free bibs at the Venicemarathon (a choice between 42 and 10K). The challenge consists in joining the UYN RUNNING club on the STRAVA App and 'grinding' as many kilometers as possible from 4 to 10 October. On Monday 11 October it will be discovered who has totaled the most kilometers and the first ten classified will be awarded with the bib.

In the meantime, another good news arrives. After the positive experience of 2019, it is confirmed that the Marathon Runner's Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 23 October at 5.30 pm. This time the liturgy will even be held by the patriarch of Venice, Msgr. Francesco Moraglia, together with the parish priest Don Roberto Donadoni and Don Marco Carletti, an athlete registered for Athletica Vaticana, the sports representative of the Holy See. Mass will be celebrated in the church of San Salvador (San Marco district, not far from the Rialto Bridge).
