Venice, 23 October 2023 - Never so many, never so fast and never so generous in Venice! The 37th Wizz Air Venicemarathon 42K-21K-10K, which took place yesterday in Venice, was an edition that archives important successes, which open new horizons.

The event has grown from three points of view: numerically with its 16,000 registered athletes; technical with the new record of the men's marathon lowered by 29 seconds and social, with the new fundraising record of the Charity Program which, to date, has already reached the record figure of 114,000 euros. The fundraising will continue in the coming months.

Congratulations are pouring in, in all languages and from all over the world, and 'stories' of people in tears of joy, rejoicing at the finish line and hugging under the arrival arch are circulating on social media. Emotions certainly also felt by the large audience crowded along the route, at the finish line and experienced by those who followed the race on television, with the three spectacular hours of live broadcast produced by Venicemarathon with the Rodella 2000 service, broadcast by RaiSport, directed by Edy Saija Dodson and the commentary by Franco Bragagna and Orlando Pizzolato and which had a very high audience rating.
An extraordinary postcard of Venice and its territory which went around the world through foreign live broadcasts, commented by Douglas Dean, and broadcast in its entirety on Sky New Zealand, Sport 5 Israel, Shanghai Television and distributed by Eurovision in 54 countries . The international Rai channel 'Rai Italia' also talked about Venicemarathon in the program 'Paparazzi'.
