VM10K is a non competitive race open to everyone on the last 10 kms of the Venicemarathon race course. It is the race that gives everyone the chance to experience the beauty of the Venicemarathon.
The event is open to all athletes being at least 10. Nordic walkers and fit walkers included.
Underage athletes need the authorization of a parent or of anybody having their custody.
With the registration each participant declares to be in a healthy condition to take part in the race. With this form the athlete waives, releases and forever discharges the event organizers for all his/her liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that he/she may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with the participation in the race.

One free subscription for every 10 paying
The promotions are valid for cumulative registrations of at least 10 participants in a single transaction
The system will automatically discount the cost of the eleventh registration.
Registrations can be paid by credit card or bank transfer.
The registration fees indicated do not include any service costs applied by the companies that process the bank transfer or the online transaction by credit card.
The start will be given at 8:30am approximately from San Giuliano Park – Porta blu.
The exact start time will be decided the day before the race, according to operational needs and TV broadcasting needs.
Bib number pick up
The race packet with the bib number and the official T-Shirt could be picked up at the Venicemarathon Expo Village – Porta Blu – inside San Giuliano Park in Venice on: Friday 21st October from 9am to 8pm and Saturday 22nd October from 9am to 8pm.

You can get to the start line in San Giuliano Park using buses provided by the organization for only registered athletes. The shuttles, free for all athletes, will depart from

· Mestre - Piazzale Favretti, Railway Station area between
with intermediate stop at Forte Marghera
If you prefer to use personal means to get to the start keep in mind that in the morning of the race, the streets will be partially closed and traffic for the starting area could be intense, so, leave your house/hotel in advance!!
Personal kit bag transportation
Athletes will be allowed to use the kit bags provided by the organization ONLY (they will be distributed with the bibs).
Note! Other types of bags will not be accepted.
Start area services
The Timing Data Service chip is attached to the bib number and it will record the net time of the race. Do not remove it, no chip no time! The timing chip is disposable therefore it doesn’t need to be given back.
VM10K Pacing Team
Pacemakers are your guardian angels during the race!
A group of athletes are at your disposal and will help you to finish the marathon recording your goal! So, give yourself a time goal, look for your pacer and get ready to follow his/her balloon!
The time limit to complete the race is 1h45', after this limit athletes on the race course will be kindly invited to leave the track.
A thorough medical assistance service will be offered by the organizing committee in collaboration with local medical facilities.
To go back to the mainland from the finish line there are free services for athletes.
- Motorboats from Venezia Giardini to Venezia Tronchetto will be at athletes’ disposal from 9:30am. LAST MOTORBOAT WILL BE AT 11:00am;
- Then by bus to go back to Mestre - railway station, to Forte Marghera Parking area or San Giuliano Park.
PAY ATTENTION!! The only free service at athletes’ disposal is the one arranged by the organization. Should you board ordinary-line-boats, the organization won’t be responsible for that and you will need to buy the tickets.
The course is entirely closed to traffic and every kilometer is marked.
The Bridge over the Grand Canal, a 170-meters-long bridge which is built just before the marathon and dismantled the night after.
